The Gryphons edged Immanuel School on a sixth-runner tiebreaker to capture back-to-back girls crowns after the teams raced to a 97-97 result. Maya Wohl was the No. 6 finisher for Crystal Springs Uplands, placing 43rd overall in 19:51.6. It marked only the third time in California girls state championship history that a title was decided on a sixth-runner tiebreaker, including the first time since 2003. Crystal Springs Uplands joined Division 1 program Great Oak as the only schools to sweep boys and girls team titles in consecutive years.
