Crystal Springs Uplands of California secured back-to-back Division 5 girls team titles by edging Immanuel School on a sixth-runner tiebreaker after the teams produced a 97-97 result at Woodward Park in Fresno at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. Anna Salter covered the 5-kilometer layout in 18:46.7 to take 11th, Allie Willis was 27th in 19:33.4, Heidy Avina secured 28th in 19:34.6, Liliana Kaludzinski placed 35th in 19:34.6, Kira Dye earned 37th in 19:46.9, Maya Wohl grabbed 43rd as the No. 6 athlete for the Gryphons in 19:51.6 and Molly Rosenberg achieved 166th in 23:24.2 for Crystal Springs Uplands, which became the first Division 5 girls program since Lick Wilmerding in 2018-19 to repeat as champion. The Gryphons also joined Division 1 program Great Oak as the only schools to sweep boys and girls team titles in consecutive years. More videos
